TEF Canada Persona Method

Creating a stable oral-exam persona helps you justify your questions in Section A and supply convincing arguments and personal examples in Section B. Instead of firing off a disconnected checklist of questions, your persona makes your interactions sound natural, coherent, and realistic.

Your persona can be based on your real life, partly fictional, or completely fictional. Important: Do not enter sensitive identifying details such as exact addresses, employer names, phone numbers, or banking information. Never recite your persona as a memorized speech during the exam—insert details naturally only when relevant.
